Ronit Shalem is a contemporary artist with over 20 years of experience in creating and working in the art world. She studied graphic design and illustration, graduating from Middlesex University UK and Vital Center for Design Studies in Tel Aviv, Israel. She has showcased her art in solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
Detail-oriented and highly innovative, Ronit is passionate about different cultures, iconography, and ancient art, which bring a timeless quality to her work. Ronit describes herself as an observer, a world traveler, and a Textureholic who thrives on color, culture, and community.
Shalem was born in 1974, originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, and has lived in London, England, and Ottawa, Canada. Her travels through South & Central America sparked a profound love for fabric arts and textures that now inspire her art. Ronit is living and working in Los Altos, California.
