Miguel Espinosa

These pictures help me understand who/where I come from as a Mexican American but also where I want to go with design. Identity is complicated in this modern age, so I want my paintings' designs to explore the unique texture of life now. I see myself as a baton runner carrying, while I'm alive and capable, what art can be. I continue on an ancient tradition while also making a conscious effort to critique past traditions of excluding the working classes. I find it important that people of all circumstances of life get praise for their unique beauty.
