Donna Broder moved from Hawaii to Napa Valley, California in 2003. While residing in Hawaii she was a member of the Honolulu Printmakers and the Hawaii Craftsmen. She actively participated in numerous group shows including the Contemporary Museum, Hawaii Pacific University Gallery, and the Honolulu Academy of Arts. She was a recipient of a State Foundation Purchase Award.
Since living in California she has been a member of Sonoma Arts Guild, participated in Open Studios and exhibited at several other small venues.
