I see my work as colorful mixed media refections of myself, like snapshots from the lens of a cartoon character’s camera. This cartoon character has taken pictures from my visual diary and turned them into an everyday soap-opera of the ridiculous and sublime. I am the cartoon character and my art reflects my “Lust for Life.”

This piece is about one of my neighborhood families. The husband’s work was a tree arborist and the mother was overbearing stay at home mom. He, the father, tried to free his child from the over protecting wife/ mother.
