The person in this portrait is from my imagination. They are the main character of the graphic novel I am working are and they are the subject matter of most of my pieces. Drawing this character over and over again has helped me understand the character on a deeper level through how I have chosen to represent them over time. This character, like all the characters I've drawn, pertains to certain parts of my personality and artistic inspirations that I am able to express visually rather than put into words.
