This portrait was commissioned as a memorial to Kevin by his brother Bruce. It immortalizes the time Kevin was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and moved in with his older brother Bruce. Bruce had just purchased a new home and the two of them would often go to Home Depot together when they were landscaping the yard. This portrait captures a happy and poignant moment at Home Depot before Kevin's health quickly deteriorated. The dominate orange color scheme of Home Depot and Kevin's tee shirt is significant because it brings back memories of Kevin being a life long San Francisco Giants fan.
