Even as a child, I was attracted to Muhammad Ali’s style. Then known as Cassius Clay, I couldn’t take my eyes off the TV watching his fast-talking poetry and elegance in the ring. After he declared himself a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War and gave up his title, he made a comeback and was ultimately considered the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. He was unabashed in his rhetoric advocating for humanitarian causes, civil rights and religious freedom. RIP Muhammad Ali.
