I chose to paint an image of myself reflected in a mirror using only turquoise and black paint. I was staring at myself reclining in an easy chair contemplating my next art project. There was something both at ease while also suggesting holding up a possible facial mask. Exposed (nude) and introspective of both a past and a possible future course. Centered....and perhaps a bit guarded.
