My Mrs. Madrigal. Mary. When she found out my mom (who lived in one of her buildings) had cancer she told her to stop paying rent. When my upstairs neighbor moved out his new landlady called Mary and asked how much rent he had been paying. She replied "That's none of your G-d Damn business. But I will tell you I'm not a gauger." She was a unique individual and I was lucky to have fallen in with her.
