I met my friend Gronk, an artist, for coffee. He told me that the mural he had painted in the upstairs seating area was going to be whitewashed; new owners of the coffee house were going to remodel. I photographed Gronk with his mural, but when I got home, I chose to digitally create his mural having one last cup of coffee with him before his mural friend would be gone forever. This image is from my ongoing series of artists whom I know and whose work I admire.
