I am submitting my digitally enhanced photo of Fred "Sonic" Smith with a hunk of Detroit iron because it resonates in my own life, both enjoying Sonic's brand of high-energy music and driving quality USA made vehicles even as I enjoyed his music at the same time. His wave in the verdant surroundings is reminiscent of the many waves I've made in Golden Gate Park, and even when driving by the DeYoung itself. I like to think of Sonic's shadow as me, waving from long ago to me in the present. Keep your spirits up, I.G., because SONIC LIVES!
