This artwork revolves around a structure of distortion of the human figure. I utilized various overlapping shapes and lines to create an anomalous work that was both emblematic and pleasing to the eye. Focusing on the silhouette of the face, I chose warm colors to express a sense of tenderness and tranquility between the characters. The background contrasts with mostly blue and green irregular, freeform shapes to emphasize the visages. I began this painting in late November of 2020, and completed it on 7 January 2021.
