I was meeting regularly with Patsy on Zoom during the pandemic lockdown. Using Zoom allowed me to spend time looking carefully at people in a way that I could not do in person. I took a snapshot of the screen during our meeting and then painted this picture. It went very quickly and I think it allowed me to capture how I experience Patsy - her intensity, curiosity, and complexity.
