The last time my husband and I visited our god-daughter Laure, we all went to a holiday party at a local bookstore in South Hadley MA. A woman was painting kids' faces and giving out balloons. This image is Chloe, our god-granddaughter. The cat. She was sticking out her tongue and giggling while my husband was trying to take a photo. He chose this one, where she was catching her breath, so that her mask would show in all its glory. This is a 2-plate etching, with soft ground, dry point and aquatint. We've missed her and her brother Sebastian because of COVID. But that's going to change this year!
