We were enjoying an early lunch in Winnemucca, Nevada. The restaurant was quiet and nearly empty. Across the room I noticed this women who was very intent on her work. In my painting I wanted to show respect for her dignity and recognition of the importance of truly seeing others who are part of our daily lives if only for a brief time.
