Every time I look at my son he seems to have changed. His once round face has become more angular over night. I search for lines and angles that resemble his younger self and now I find the lines and angles of his Irish ancestors- but they all belong to him. He owns every angle. Ian is mentally and physically tough beyond his years. This isn’t a portrait of an adolescent. It’s a portrait of a young man determined to conquer any fear or overcome any challenge.
