I asked Nomy to get to know Silvia through the artifacts left in Silvia's archive at the GLBT Historical Society. I posed Nomy with a projected image of Silvia so that the living and the dead could occupy the frame at the same time. Their relationship came alive as Nomy sang to Silvia.
