Bob is an artist, 80 years old, and slowing down. I wanted to paint a portrait of him to remember this time in his life. I used "wet into wet" technique. After sketching his image with vine charcoal, I worked with oils in one session. A few days later I added more on top keeping the paints fresh and immediate.
