Drawing friends, especially friends who are artists, makes for deep work. Time and conversation move at their own pace. We talk about music, books, color, other friends. Wherever the mood takes us, there we are. And we pretend that this drawing time is ordinary even as we know it will not last. We will see each other again next week. Won’t we?
