1975/2021

This canvas is a psychedelic montage featuring a photograph I took of Medical Marijuana activist Dennis Peron in 1975, some 70s artwork by Ruthie and a psychedelic photo of the sun setting at my apartment complex in 2021.
Because of Dennis’ pioneering work with medical marijuana as a co author of Proposition 215, the Compassionate Use Act, and his life work, many lives have been saved and much pain relieved.
His original medical marijuana club was called The Big Top.
