Pencil rendering of a peaceful monk I met while visiting the Wat Arun temple in Bangkok.
His expression exuded a mind free from distractions. I was inspired to capture the peace of his gaze with a pencil rendering.
It was a slow but rewarding process which involved methodically and carefully allowing the pencil to build up the forms
and shadows over time.
