Martin Luther King Jr. is recognized as an American hero. In most photos he is in formal attire leading people in protests and gatherings. I was inspired by a photograph of King as a young man, dressed casually, with a cause. His hands are lifted and open between the ocean of life and the sky above. His quote:The Arc of the Moral Universe is Long but It Bends Toward Justice, continues to uplift me– especially in troubled times.
