Lincoln portrait:

I was reading an article on Abraham Lincoln, and there was a photo of his kind face staring out at me. I have always wanted to paint a portrait of Mr. Lincoln, his kind craggy soulful face, full of wisdom, sorrow, and knowledge . This was sometime in 2019, and the politics of our nation was shameful. So given all of that I started the painting. I worked on it, off and on, for two years. I call it Flowers for Good Friday, the day he was murdered, same as Christ. So they are really flowers of forgiveness.
