This photograph was unplanned. I was with a friend with whom I have always had a particular fascination for her ‘style’ and photogenic quality. This particular photograph was created when the lighting struck in a certain way with the full moonlight behind her and I saw a serene, spiritual quality which I had not before observed. Capturing it from a low angle and simplifying the background has made it one of my favorite photographs aesthetically, but also looking at it reminds me of the quality of her personality.
