I wanted to paint someone that inspires me as an artist. I'm in awe of the vast array of works that he has done and is still creating . I just started paintingn 3 years ago when I found my passion of painting . I want to have as good of an imagination as David Hockney and create works that will inspire me to make great work of arts for future to come. This work was partly inspired by the soft pastels work currently showing at the legion of honor.
