This is one of the first depictions of my mom in our Soviet kitchen. This was 1977 and I was 7 years old. Amazingly, this drawing somehow survived the cross-global migration over 50 year ago. My mom is now gone but I will always have fond memories of her making dinner for our family in our cramped Soviet kitchen.
