In 2020 my son and daughter worked remotely from home. My daughter's room is adjacent to my painting studio. I decided to take advantage of her constant presence and paint her portrait to seize this moment in her life. I posed her surrounded by childhood stuffed animals and pokemon, her hard-won wrestling trophy, and her Wonderwoman poster. I realized that these objects represented what went into her formation. She is imaginative, physically, and mentally strong and her expression shows she is ready to face the world.
