I met the brilliant and eccentric Professor Phineis J. Flockmocker at the San Francisco Dickens Fair. When I asked him to pose he struck this position for me which shows him in all of his fun to paint bravado. It has been a pleasure to get to know the Professor for the portrait and the actor Jay Davis as a friend.
