I chose to draw this person because of the expressiveness on her face? I feel when we are trying to draw a person we are aiming for a connection that will resonate with the viewers of the art, as well as trying to capture the models' core essence. I think that is why we find portraits so interesting and alluring as a viewer we are discovering the emotion/s portrayed in the portrait.
