Like Alice Neel, my self portrait reflects my viewpoint of the world. I tend to be skeptical and look beyond the face value of things. The x-ray picture of my spine in the background is a reflection that there is more than what is presented to our eyes on the surface. A person’s eyes reveal an unfathomable depth of feelings and emotions. I also view the world with humor and satire.
