Taken from an unforgettable image of Aung Sang Suu Kyi, surrounded by bodyguards and being hounded by the media. I wanted to explore a woman who was lauded by the world for standing up to the military and later showed such disregard for the genocide of the Rohingya people, a complex situation and a delicate balance of priorities which is never clear to an outsider. How can we make sense of such complexity?
