Klaus visited from Denmark for my husband's birthday. I had been working on a series based on film noir, especially "The Birds. I asked him to bring his tails and we went to the headlands by Bodega Bay. I found he was wonderfully willing model and had an incredible sense of adventure and love of cars. He rented a Crossfire and had the time of his life with it. We explored the area where "The Birds" was filmed and the picture I chose is this quirky one where he is his sophisticated European self out in the middle of this field of Calla lilies.
