While photographing in the small village of Petac in Mexico, I met this charming woman. I was drawn to her sense of herself and her confidence in who she is. The image was taken in the doorway of her small home. Her bed is a hammock, hanging from the wall. Chopped wood is her source of heat and for cooking.
