I was drawn to the work of a Japanese artiist Sadao Watanabe. A few of his works were of fishermen. They inspired me to make my paintings of them. I call them the Fisher People. There is something
so special about them that has helped me create a number of paintings. this one I chose is my first. They make me feel whole as a person.
