I have chosen to paint portraits of Sadhus for the past three years. When I paint these men and women of intense spiritual devotion I experience a profound love for them and also an homage to their sacrifice and journey. I feel the spiritual journey is always captured and conveyed with the face, and painting these faces has become a devotional practice.
