I got to know this artist while taking pictures on the Venice Boardwalk. He earns a living by playing guitar for the passing tourists. After running into him numerous times, I struck up a conversation with him.
His livelihood depends on the generosity of passing visitors which are drawn not only to his music and vocals, but colorful dress and engaging personality. I am always heartened to see he remains on the
boardwalk and continues to interact with passing visitors and other artisans.
