The waitress who served our group in a small restaurant in rural Kansas was stunning when she entered our room. At a quiet moment during the meal, I took her aside and asked, “Might I take your photograph after dinner?” She replied with a smile, “Why yes, I’d be honored.” I ran back to our hotel across the parking lot to get my camera and portrait lens and spent about 30 minutes with her. “Tell me about yourself,” I suggested as we sat across from each other.
