Transmission refers to the biological success of my parents, as a human species and filipino immigrants, having grandchildren, my two sons, 'happas', i.e., half their genetic code is as a second generation Filipino-American Catholic; the other half first generation Polish American Jew and the psychological joys and trauma of migrating and belonging.
