This is my daughter at age 10. At this stage of my work I set out to record each of my close family members, my parents, my husband and my two children as a means of holding them in memory. I asked my daughter to pose in a direct way that was comfortable for her. With hard looking I felt this would reveal her personality to me beyond my bias as her mother.
