I painted my two Grandsons with their 2 cousins, because I saw them holding hands and excitedly walking forward. All four represent the story of America. They all trace back to the beginnings of America as direct descendants of Nathanael Greene. Making this painting inspired me to better understand their enthusiasm and joy as together they approach their future.
