Portrait of a clothing designer, Khalil, sitting with crossed arms and holding a white lily. The portrait was done in pen and ink, watercolor and 23K liquid gold. I met Khalil in the coffee shop: he had such regal appearance. I especially loved that he was wearing multi-ethical jewelry and the outfit he designed himself, was influenced by different cultures as well. He was a true World Citizen. While he modeled, he talked about his life, aspirations, dreams. His job at the time was of a gardener and he was aspiring to be a fashion designer.
