I chose to paint my two daughters. Before I became a mother I thought as a mother I would teach my children about the world, but they have taught me so much about the world and love. I have learned who I am through the eyes of my daughters. We've had a long two years through this pandemic: isolation, divorce, single parenthood, preschool, kindergarten - painting them has reminded me how far we have come in the past two years. Life is a journey and I feel so blessed they chose me as their mother and partner in this adventure.
