I've always been a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock, so I decided to make a drawing inspired by his classics "Vertigo." There's something about the blood curdling scream in the movie that stays with you, and seems appropriate for some of the extreme emotions we've been experiencing with the pandemic and polarizing, often petrifying, politics . My husband Michael posed for the portrait as he's very talented at creating expressive poses.
