Ruben was a student at Bridge The Gap, Marin City. An exuberant kid, hard to settle down to concentrate on his studies. He was eager to learn and overjoyed at his success in finishing his math project with honors. His expression of joy at his achievements is a reward for me and why I tutor these kids. It was not easy to capture this moving target, but his joy comes through in this busy moment.
His joy is also mine.
